CO-FOUNDERS
Former Assistant Conductor of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Solti Foundation U.S. Career Assistance Award winner, Kensho Watanabe is fast becoming one of the most exciting and versatile young conductors to come out of the United States.
Recent highlights include debuts with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Tokyo Philharmonic, and the Detroit Symphony.
Kensho was the inaugural Conducting Fellow at the Curtis Institute of Music, studying with his mentor Yannick Nézet-Séguin. He received his Master of Music in Violin from the Yale School of Music and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Yale College.
Winner of the 2019 CSO Sir Georg Solti Conducting Apprenticeship, Lina Gonzalez-Granados leads an active career throughout the United States and Europe in orchestral and opera conducting. She currently serves as the Conducting Fellow of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Seattle Symphony.
Upcoming engagements include concerts with Los Angeles Philharmonic, Oxford Symphony, Radio Television Española, and Kristiansand Symphony, among others.
Lina holds degrees from New England Conservatory, and is currently completing a Doctorate Degree at Boston University. Her mentors include Ricardo Muti, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Bramwell Tovey, Marin Alsop, and Bernard Haitink.
